Successful Completion of the New Basic Project for the Livestock City of the Sierra Norte de Madrid, Developed by AC Ingenieros.
The Buitrago de Lozoya City Council has launched an innovative project to modernize and reopen the municipal slaughterhouse, aiming to support the livestock industry in the Sierra Norte de Madrid. The current initiative seeks to upgrade the facilities exclusively for cattle slaughter and construct a multi-purpose social building of approximately 1,000 m² to serve the livestock sector of the Sierra Norte de Madrid and the residents of Buitrago de Lozoya.
In September 2020, a Special Equipment Plan was drafted to regularize the urban planning status of the slaughterhouse and establish specific conditions for its rehabilitation and expansion. This plan includes the partial demolition of existing structures and the construction of new facilities, including a cutting room for cattle processing.
With this new project, AC Ingenieros will contribute to the development of the Livestock City of the Sierra Norte de Madrid, which will become a benchmark for modernity and a driving force in the Madrid livestock sector.
