On September 21st, the event organized by AC INGENIEROS took place, in which our client SMILEAT, the BASQUE FOOD CLUSTER, and BEATRIZ ROMANOS participated. The event was attended by executives from the main food companies in the Basque Country, Mercabilbao, Azti Tecnalia, startups, and members of the Basque Food Cluster. The founders of Smileat shared the keys to their success in revolutionizing the world of infant food.
The event began with a presentation by the General Director of Basque Food Cluster, Jon Ander Egaña. Subsequently, Smileat provided insights on how to successfully bring an idea to the market through its co-founder Alberto Jiménez and the specialized food tech and food innovation disseminator Beatriz Romanos. To conclude the event, Javier Quintana, Co-founder of Smileat, Virginia Matesanz from Basque Foods Cluster, and the two partners of AC INGENIEROS, Agustín Alonso and Cristóbal Cerquella, discussed the industrialization process leading up to the recent launch of SMILEAT’s new factory in Jerez de la Frontera (Cádiz).
